Na sexta-feira (13), aconteceu a premiação da 9ª edição das Olimpíadas Escolares de Educação Física de Lorena, no CAAPEL, em uma realização da Prefeitura Municipal, por meio da Secretaria de Educação. O projeto teve o objetivo de promover o desenvolvimento integral dos alunos da rede municipal de ensino, incentivando a prática esportiva, o trabalho em equipe e a interação entre os estudantes.
Ao todo, foram 25 escolas participantes, tanto urbanas como rurais, além das turmas da Educação de Jovens e Adultos e do Centro de Recursos Especiais (CRE). O evento ocorreu em duas etapas, em maio e outubro, totalizando mais de 2 mil alunos em cada uma.
Com idades entre 8 e 17 anos, os estudantes foram divididos em seis categorias: A, B, C, D, PCD Anos Iniciais e PCD Anos Finais), disputando em modalidades como Futsal, Handebol, Basquete, Voleibol, Voleibol Adaptado, Queimada, Tênis de Mesa, Karatê, Damas, Xadrez, Bola ao Cesto, Atletismo, Skate e Jogos Eletrônicos (Just Dance).
“A abordagem contemporânea da educação física escolar, alinhada à BNCC, reconhece a necessidade de incorporar novas práticas corporais que refletem os interesses dos estudantes da atualidade”, afirma Thaisa Reis, organizadora do evento e coordenadora da Educação Física da rede municipal de ensino.
Todas as 25 escolas receberam um troféu pela participação, simbolizando sua garra e determinação. Além disso, as escolas mais bem pontuadas na classificação geral também receberam troféus de 1º, 2º e 3º colocados, em seis categorias.
